Consultations are Strictly by Appointment ONLY: ‘Walk-Ins’ WILL NOT be seen. This is for the comfort and safety of patients and staff alike and to minimize the risk of spreading infectious illness.

In order to make an appointment you can:

Given the nature of our work, we never know in advance how long consultation will take – some consultations take less than the anticipated 15minutes while others require more time to fully address the issue at hand. Accordingly, we may run behind the allocated appointment times and appreciate your understanding in this regard. To help us remain on time it is very important that you arrive for your appointment on time – if every patient arrived 5minutes late to their appointment we would run two-and-half hours behind by the end of the day! Your punctuality is greatly appreciated and will ensure you wait the minimum amount of time before being seen.

We always endeavor to let you book an appointment with the Doctor of your choice at a time that suits you best. Unfortunately, this is not always possible, but we will give you a choice of options. We are constantly reviewing our appointment system to ensure that we provide our services in the most effective and efficient way.

If you have booked an appointment it is very important to let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel it.

Appointment Length

Our routine appointment system is based upon a standard 15-minute consultation. If you feel that you require a longer appointment to discuss more complex issues, please mention this to Reception when you are booking your appointment.

Routine Appointments

These are intended for non-urgent problems or to follow up a pre-existing condition. In order to provide continuity of care, it is generally best to book with the Doctor you saw originally. These appointments may be booked in advance but you may need to wait a few days to see your preferred Doctor.

Urgent Appointments

All Emergencies are dealth with by the emergency services  please dial 999 or 112

Family Appointments

Separate appointments must be made for each family member who wish to be seen. Family members with the “same symptoms” may be accommodated with a shorter concurrent appointment. Please inform Reception when booking your appointment if you need to avail of this service. Additional fees may apply.

Missed / Late Appointments

As we run our practice on an appointment only basis, we would greatly appreciate if you could arrive on time for your appointment. If you have made an appointment, then you have a responsibility to attend on time. Please factor in travel time, whether for traffic/bus schedules/parking, and aim to arrive 10 minutes ahead of your appointment time.

Patients who arrive more than 10 minutes late for their appointment may be asked to reschedule their appointment. Patients who repeatedly arrive late/cancel/fail to turn up for their appointment, may be asked to find another doctor.

Video Consultations

When you are booking a video consultation, you will be asked to provide an email address. As the appointment is booked, you will receive an email with the time and date as well as a link to the online consultation portal. When it is time for your appointment, you click the link and it will require you to put in your birthdate as a password. Please note that these consultations will still be within our opening hours.
