Brid is part of the practice support team and assists with the day-to-day running of the practice. In addition to providing general administrative support, she also supports reception. Brid has been with the practice since 2008 and has been central to the consistent development and success of the practice during this time. She holds a Diploma in Training and Continuing Education, certificates in ECDL, First Aid, Word Processing, Shorthand, Bookkeeping and also IPASS.
Catriona completed Medical Terminology & Administration with distinction through The Open College in June 2017. Having worked in other GP practices she joined the team at Castle Street Surgery in September, 2017. Previous to this Catriona worked in the financial services industry as Project Manager. She has excellent co-ordination skills with management and prioritisation of daily tasks. Having worked under financial regulations she has completed yearly training in Information Protection , Privacy, Data Protection and Code of Ethics. Catriona also holds a certificate in Business Administration and most recently has completed a Heartsaver AED/CPR course with the Irish Heart Foundation HSE.
Aine joined Castle Street Surgery in June 2018 after completing her Medical Secretary Diploma in Sligo. She holds a QQI Level 5 in Business Administration. She is also a qualified Phlebotomist and holds a Diploma in Phlebotomy. Aine works on reception handling appointments and dealing with queries that patients may have over the phone, or in person, as well as carrying out blood tests.
Caitlin joined Castle Street Surgery in February 2021, having immigrated from South Africa. Caitlin is an experienced secretary and personal assistant who is primarily responsible for secretarial duties at the practice. She has recently completed a CPR/AED course and has experience in the use of various accounting software.
