In order to have a safe and enjoyable trip abroad we will provide you with the most up-to-date medical information required for your chosen destination. Popular destinations in Asia, South America, Africa, Central America and the Caribbean will usually require certain vaccinations. Indeed, vaccinations are mandatory for entry into certain countries. Although your travel destination may appear safe, please bear in mind that disease outbreaks can and do happen; vaccinations can offer effective protection against many diseases.
Certain vaccines require more than one shot so it is essential that patients attend for a consultation regarding travel vaccinations at least 8 weeks before the planned departure date, if at all possible. However, if you are unable to attend for a travel vaccination in advance as suggested then you should still attend prior to departure since some protection is better than none.
